Meridian woman arrested for vehicular manslaughter following fatal October collision

Boise Police have made an arrest after a two-vehicle collision on Oct. 19, claimed the life of one.

The accident occurred in the early morning hours at the intersection of North Cloverdale Road and West Chinden Boulevard. When police arrived at the collision, they found 54-year-old Ian Stickler of Boise had died from his injuries and was trapped in his vehicle. The second driver, 23-year-old Kailee Cameron of Meridian, was treated at the hospital for minor injuries.

After an investigation by the Boise Police Department's Violent Crimes Unit and the Ada County Prosecutor's Office, evidence indicated that Cameron was driving under the influence of alcohol and driving at a high rate of speed when the two vehicles collided.

A warrant was issued for Cameron's arrest. Cameron turned herself in and has been booked into the Ada County Jail on one Felony count of Vehicular Manslaughter.
